We want you to love your Oil Pal. Every order matters to us, and we stand behind what we sell. If something isn't right — whether it arrived damaged, wasn't what you expected, or just didn't work out — we're here to help make it right. Here's exactly how our return and refund process works.

1. Our Return Window

We accept return requests within 30 days of your delivery date. To be eligible, your item must meet all of the following conditions:

  • The item is unused and in its original condition

  • It is returned in its original packaging

  • It has not been opened, damaged, or altered by the customer

Items that have been opened or used are not eligible for a return, so please reach out to us before sending anything back — we're happy to help you figure out the best path forward.

2. How to Start a Return

Starting a return is simple. Just follow these steps:

  1. Email us at info@oil-pal.com with your order number and the reason for your return.

  2. We'll respond within 2 business days with return instructions and a return shipping address.

  3. Ship the item back using a trackable shipping method. Return shipping costs are the customer's responsibility — unless the return is due to our error (wrong item sent or defective product), in which case we've got it covered.

  4. We'll process your refund within 5–7 business days of receiving and inspecting the returned item.

Heads up: Please don't ship a return without contacting us first. We want to make sure everything goes smoothly and that your return is properly tracked on our end.

3. Refunds

Once your return is approved and processed, here's what to expect:

  • Refunds are issued to your original payment method.

  • After we initiate the refund, please allow 5–10 business days for it to appear — processing times vary by bank or card issuer.

  • Original shipping charges are non-refundable, unless the return is due to our error.

  • If your return is not approved (for example, the item shows signs of use), we'll notify you by email and return the item to you. Any shipping costs for the return will be at your expense.

4. Damaged or Defective Items

We're sorry if your order didn't arrive in perfect condition. Here's what to do:

  • Contact us at info@oil-pal.com within 7 days of delivery.

  • Include a photo of the damage or defect and your order number in your email.

  • We'll make it right — either with a replacement or a full refund, whichever you prefer. No return shipping required for defective items.

5. Wrong Item Received

If you received the wrong item, we sincerely apologize — that's on us. Please email us at info@oil-pal.com with your order number and a photo of what you received. We'll ship the correct item right away and cover all return shipping costs.

6. Lost or Undelivered Packages

If your tracking shows as delivered but you haven't received your package, here's what we recommend:

  • Check with neighbors and any shared mail areas in your building.

  • If it still can't be located, contact us within 7 days of the marked delivery date. We'll work with the carrier to investigate and find the best resolution for you.

  • Please note: Oil Pal is not responsible for packages lost or undelivered due to an incorrect shipping address provided at checkout.

7. Non-Returnable Items

The following items are not eligible for return, regardless of circumstance:

  • Items returned after the 30-day return window

  • Items that are opened, used, or not in their original packaging

  • Gift cards or promotional items

8. Exchanges

At this time, we do not offer direct exchanges. If you'd like a different option, please return your item for a refund and place a new order. We're a small team, and this keeps the process clean and fast for everyone.
